The Swallowing Dark is a play which is running at Theatre503 in Battersea this November. The play focuses on the story of Canaan a Zimbabwean refugee who has settled in Liverpool, and the writer Lizzie Nunnery was inspired by the stories of Zimbabweans who she met through the charity Refugee Action. Starring Wil Johnson (BBC’s Waking the Dead) and with original music and video this is a psychological thriller that combines devastating power with the telling of a good story
