Thank you for taking the time to apply to vendor at Zimfest Live 2024. Applications open 27 January, and the deadline to apply is Friday 30 June 2024 at 4pm.

ZIMFEST LIVE IS NOT OBLIGED TO ACCEPT ANY OR ALL APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED. Applications will be judged and considered on merit and balance of trade and catering at the festival, to ensure fairness, avoid duplication and create an interesting and varied event for the public. Applications are not processed on a first come first served basis for the reasons outlined above.

You can find information on the individual categories below, as well as all fees and charges involved. If you need to update your supporting documents, you can log in to update your application at any point up until the deadline here.

There is no need to email your documents to us.

General Traders


This application is open to any person or business that trades in non-food items. This also applies to confectionery and cake traders.

Applications will not be accepted without all of the following documentation:

  • Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5 million
  • Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) for your stall setup
  • Full product and price list
  • Photographs of your stall and set up
  • PAT certification (if you are using electrical appliances)

Employers' Liability- This is obligatory if you have a person or people working for you on your stall or in a support capacity, such as someone to help transport items to and from your base.

Catering

This application is for all hot food caterers and ice-cream vendors.

Catering Application Form

Applications will not be accepted without all of the following documentation:

  • Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5 million
  • Food Hygiene Rating certificate from your local authority (Rating of 4 or higher)
  • Food Safety Certificates for all staff (no more than 3 years old)
  • Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) for your stall setup
  • Full menu and price list
  • Photographs of your stall and set up

The following are also mandatory, but only if applicable to your business operations:

  • Gas Safe Register certificate (no more than 12 months old)
  • PAT certification (if you are using electrical appliances)

Fees and Charges

Market Trader Pitch- 3mx3m - £195 (Includes 3x3m, 2 chairs and a trestle table)

Standard Pitch - 3mx3m - £395 (Includes 3x3m Gazebo, 2 chairs and a trestle table)

Food Pitch        - 3mx3m - Saturday £500 / Sunday £250 for applications before 30 April. An application fee of £700 for Saturday trading and £300 for Sunday trading applies after this date.

Power charges:

Single 13 amp power socket = TBC

Twin 13 amp power socket - TBC

Ceeform 16 amp power connection - TBC

Ceeform 32 amp power connection = TBC
